This month has been action packed with matches at our Spanish soccer academy.

Firstly, in the first time in our history, the Soccer Smart Academy are taking part in the Alicante based cup competition the “Copa San Pedro”. The soccer tournament takes part all over the province of Alicante and is the oldest amateur football cup competition in Spain dating back to 1941.

The soccer academy have been put into Group 2 with Maristas CF, Sirvent E Hijos CD Campello and Mediterráneo CF respectively. The games will be played over the months of May and June.

Furthermore, we also welcomed Tranmere Rovers Centre of Development over from England. The English club came over for a Spanish tour playing four matches including games against our partner club Alicante City (1-2) and our Academy which finished in a hard fought 1-1 draw.
